The Team captains this year are junior Seth Johnson, junior Ryan Wichhart and sophomore Will Warner. Pelladium.com asked players from this year’s squad about how they felt for this upcoming season.
“I hope that we grow as a team, and by doing that, we are going to take it one step at a time. I think this season provides a great group, and I have a feeling that it’s going to be a fun year because of the different personalities this team consists of. I’m just really looking forward to playing games already,” said Johnson.
“We hope to bring back a state championship this year, and I think this season we have the potential to be really good, and by doing that, we’re going to have to work well as a team. I’m looking forward to playing soccer with my friends and hopefully making it to state,” said junior Logan Heerema.
“I’m looking forward to be in a team sport again and to spend time with my friends. I’ve accomplished being on making this year’s varsity squad, and my next personal goal is to finally play my first high school soccer match. As a team, I hope that our team makes it to state,” said senior Konstantin Buchholz.
