Brandon Fischer recently signed to continue his track and field career at Iowa State. The star thrower has been having quite the season. In shot put, he has thrown 55-11.5, which puts him at third in class 3A. His true bread and butter is the discus, he has tossed the discus 199-09. This not only puts him number one in class 3A, but also number one in the state and top ten in the entire country. With numbers like those he was bound to get D1 looks. 

“I love the facilities and especially the free food,” said Fischer when asked about what factored into the decision to go to Iowa State. “I’m looking forward to competing against the best in the nation to push me to my greatest potential.” 

Brandon is definitely one of the best throwers this school and the state has ever seen, and we wish him all the best at Iowa State.
