Sophomore English student Julia Smart considers herself an environmental enthusiast, and was presented with the semester project to film a video talking about an issue and connecting it to an essential question, two works from the semester, and using statistics to back up your point. Smart decided that for her Sophomores Speak Out project, she would film a video in the style of a typical YouTuber explaining why plastic pollution is a problem.
