Pella girls basketball starts it’s season,playing Atlantic and Mt Pleasant both resulting in wins, but falling to the tough competitor North Polk. They seem to have some competition this season but they are very hopeful “I think the season will go great if we continue to trust each other, if we have the right mindset, our team is tough to beat.” said sophomore Kamryn Long.
Everyone as anticipated this basketball season seeing how far they have come from last year and how far they’ll make it this year. Sophomore Emerson Wogen said “I’m excited to compete and see how far our team can get”
They have been building relationships and have found great opportunities to build more throughout the season. Sophomore Kamryn Long says “Each year I build a stronger relationship with the upperclassmen getting to know them better.”
The dutch are ready to come back from their loss from North Polk with a big comeback for the Norwalk game December 1st. “The loss will help push us to be better, it’s time to bounce back” said Sophomore Emerson Wogen.
