A surprise assembly was held last period to recognize math teacher Dennis Linn, who received The Golden Apple from Allied Insurance and WHO TV. Linn was honored after letters were received in his support from several students. Linn, who spoke briefly, said a little piece of the award belongs to him while the rest is shared by students, parents and the school community.
