Acapella members eagerly anticipate the arrival at Camp Appanoose for the 2013 retreat Aug. 23-24. Members learned the choreography to “Light ‘Em Up,”  the opener, and “Whispers in the Dark,”  the closer. Students also participated in a hayrack ride and multiple games for team bonding.
“I think visually the choreography is a lot cleaner and cooler than previous years. I’m excited to see how the set will turn out when the rest of the choreography is added. I think it’s really beneficial for learning our choreography as well as getting to know everyone in the group,” said senior Tristan Miedema.
“Acapella is off to a tremendous start after working hard at camp with choreographer L.D. Kidd. All dancers worked very hard and I was proud of all of them,” said director Michelle Chaplin.
